Method

Six rules. They exist because this site is published by the people who wrote the software it reviews, and a house publication has nothing to offer except a method anyone can audit.

1. Every figure is re-taken

No number in these entries is copied from a brief, a changelog, a survey note or the property’s own marketing. Each one was taken from the live page or the live file on the day of the entry, and the margin records the UTC minute. Where a figure is generated by the page at render time — the condition count is — it is checked against the data that generates it rather than read off the screen.

2. Every entry names something wrong

Not a ritual caveat at the end. A specific, reproducible defect, in the body, with the conditions under which it reproduces. If an entry cannot find one, the entry has not been done.

3. The imaging lab is a viewer

It displays medical images. It does not interpret them, detect findings, or generate a report, and there is no code in it that could. No sentence on this site will imply otherwise, whatever shorthand is convenient.

4. No medical advice, ever

These are software reviews. Nothing here diagnoses, triages, or recommends treatment, and nothing here should be used to decide whether to seek care. The pages carry no medical schema markup and no rating markup of any kind.

5. The pictures are mine

Every illustration is a screenshot I took of the live property in headless Chrome at a stated viewport and a stated minute, or a crop of one. No stock photography, no placeholder imagery, no invented charts. Analytics and third-party collection endpoints were blocked at the network layer for every capture, so no screenshot in this notebook is also an analytics hit. Where a screenshot required passing the desk’s name door, it was passed by invoking the page’s own handler with the field left empty — no name typed, nothing submitted.

6. Corrections are re-measurements

If a figure here is wrong, or the property changes and makes it wrong, the fix is to measure again and restate the figure with a new time. Write to labs@labs.llc.
